some saucy love.

hay hay hayyyy.
i actually wasn’t going to post today, because not a whole lot happened and i didn’t have any real food pictures.

but i couldn’t stop myself.
this morning i whipped up my favourite protein pancakes and an omg-amazing new dipping sauce.
the sauce is the whole reason i am blogging.

it is easy, sweet, peanut buttery saucy deliciousness.
all it is, is 1 tbsp pb (i used white chocolate wonderful) and 1 tbsp maple syrup microwaved for 30 seconds.
(you have to stir it up and let it sit to thicken up a little bit, but that’s everything.)

it is SO good. on protein pancakes, waffles, french toast, oatmeal, your finger..

to recap today: i had a decent HINE(y) day, ate a couple treats which i shouldn’t have (but thoroughly enjoyed and refuse to beat myself up about), did some yoga, read up on weight training basics and really want to go for a run tomorrow, and decided to make white chocolate macadamia blondies & soft, chewy gingersnaps for the birthday festivities this weekend.

thats all.

have you ever had an idea so delicious you just had to tell people about it?
honestly, i think this is the first time it’s happened to me. i am just getting started blogging though…

toodles. 🙂

Yes! The recipe section of my blog is like a ghost town, but I had to tell people about this:

Take a whole wheat wrap, and add about a tablespoon of goat cheese. Then add mustard (I use an onion-flavoured deli version), and one hard-boiled egg, cut in half. Wrap it up, heat for about 15-20 seconds in the microwave, and enjoy! SO, so good.

It’s so simple but I just love it so much.

I love mixing maple syrup and peanut butter. It’s so good over oats or waffles. That used to be my go-to breakfast topper. I’d mix those two and then a tiny splash of almond milk to thin it out and drizzle. Mmmm.

      i love it.
i also like the looks of the blueberry syrup + pb mixture i saw on your blog this morning. 🙂

i wanted to tear up my pancakes and let them soak up the sauce to make like a pancake-pudding, but i didn’t think of that until they were long gone, of course.

haha I come up with DELICOUS ideas and no one ever gets as excited as I do. That probably has a lot to do with why I started blogging. 🙂

White chocolate wonderful is probably one of the best things ever. Im in LOVE with it!
